Trump Can Still Deliver on His Promise to Defeat High Prices

Anyone who has been to the grocery store this year has seen empty shelves instead of cartons of eggs.

The limited number of eggs available cost twice what they did a year ago. Restaurants like Denny’s and Waffle House have even added a surcharge to cover soaring costs. President Donald Trump called the egg shortage “a disaster.”

To control the damage, the Trump Administration announced plans to import hundreds of millions of eggs from Turkey and other countries.

This shows Trump was serious when he told Americans he will defeat the high cost of living he inherited from President Joe Biden. The “war on affordability” waged by the Biden Administration contributed significantly to Trump’s victory.
