National Taxpayers Union (NTU) strongly supports the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 and is encouraged to see its swift passage in the House. This bipartisan bill will bring much-needed tax relief for families struggling with persistently high inflation and help businesses grow, innovate, and create jobs.
Following the vote in the House, NTU Executive Vice President Brandon Arnold said, "This is a great achievement for taxpayers. We have a long way to go to make the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent, but this is an enormous first step toward that goal. Speaker Johnson and Chairman Smith should be commended for their leadership on behalf of taxpayers and we look forward to working with members of the Senate to get this package to the president's desk."
