Voters hear a lot of promises and a lot of rhetoric from candidates running for office, but what is the bottom line? Would the candidates' plans lead to more federal spending or to budgetary savings?

Since 2000, NTUF has analyzed the fiscal policy platforms of candidates running in the Presidential races as well as in select House and Senate campaigns. The studies compile all of the candidates' key proposals -- as outlined on their websites, in their official campaign documents, and touted in speeches -- into a detailed line-by-line analysis of their potential impact on spending.
