Grant Carlson is the Public Policy and Government Affairs Manager at the National Taxpayers Union. In his role, he works with policymakers in Congress and federal agencies to create pro-taxpayer outcomes on issues ranging but not limited to financial services, taxes, technology, and insurance. 

Before working at NTU, Grant worked at the Electronic Transactions Association advocating on behalf of the payments and FinTech industry and at the Mortgage Bankers Association as a Senior Policy Advisor for commercial real estate finance policy, including banking and insurance-related issues. Grant also interned for former Majority Leader Eric Cantor and then Rep. John Boozman. 

He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
